On Incomplete Grades

Directly quoted from the Catalog :

"An incomplete grade(I) will not be given except in the case of a true emergency that can be demonstrated by medical records, death certificates, etc. Even if a true emergency exists, a student will not be allowed an extension (an I grade) unless that student has been attending classes and has kept up with the work prior to the emergency.

When an I grade is submitted, the professor will complete an Incomplete Grade Form in the Office of the Registration and Records explaining the reasons for the I grade and listing the student's grades in the course. The student must then complete the work by the end of the fourth week of the next term, or the I will be converted to an F (unless the professor has specified that the I be converted to a C or D). After six months, changes in grades must be approved by the Academic Affairs Council."
