This presentation will discuss the behavior assessment of personnel security vetting.  Topics to be addressed for this segment will cover background investigations, effectiveness of substance testing, use of polygraph, best practice interviewing and interrogation techniques.

Terrorism

This presentation will provide a brief overview of terrorism with some historical prospective and immediately transition into the challenges currently facing security officials with profiling current prevailing international terrorist threats toward information technology.  Discussion will address the prevailing threat and how it impacts the operations of information security specialists.  Portions of this presentation will be provided by a guest speaker who is a specialist in the field of interrogation.

Physical Security

This segment will present the basic elements needed for a security professional relative to vulnerability assessments, asset protection, and risk mitigation.  This segment will provided the most "in-demand" skills sought for by businesses that are concern about their security.

Encryption Protection

This segment will review the basic principles of software and hardware that is available to protect information in networks.
